POONCH, Jan. 22 -- A meeting regarding Sponsorship cum Foster Care approval was held today at the DC Office, Poonch, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma, in accordance with the guidelines of Mission Vatsalya. During the meeting, 109 cases of orphan children were placed before the committee. Each case was taken up for detailed discussion, scrutiny, and deliberation. After thorough examination, the cases were approved by the Chair.
The District Child Protection Officer, Shri Khalil A Banday, presented a comprehensive briefing on the cases, highlighting the background, eligibility, and need based assessment of the beneficiaries under the scheme.
