RAJOURI, Feb. 10 -- Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting at the Conference Hall, DC Office to review the progress made in the promotion and registration for PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The scheme aims to promote solar energy adoption and provide affordable electricity to consumers.
During the meeting, the DC directed officials to identify beneficiaries paying electricity bills exceeding Rs. 2,000 per month and prioritize them under the scheme after imparting adequate awareness. He emphasized the need for an intensive door-to-door awareness campaign to educate the public about the benefits of the initiative.
