JAMMU, April 29 -- Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting to review and strengthen the food safety and legal metrology mechanism across the district. The meeting was attended by Sub Divisional Magistrates, Deputy Director Legal Metrology and Food Safety Officers and among other concerned officers. The DC emphasised the need for proactive and coordinated efforts to ensure that food products available in the market comply with prescribed safety and quality standards.
