KISHTWAR, Sept. 6 -- Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma conducted an extensive inspection of Kishtwar to Thathri stretch of NH-244 to review its condition, the pace of the ongoing maintenance works and traffic management arrangements.
The DC was accompanied by SSP, Naresh Singh along with other senior officers.
During the visit, the DC inspected vulnerable spots and directed the concerned departments to ensure timely repairs, removal of debris and smooth flow of traffic.
He stressed strict adherence to safety measures, especially at landslide-prone and accident-prone locations and instructed to minimize risks.
