REASI, July 23 -- In a significant move towards women empowerment and community development, the Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik today inaugurated the "Didi Ki Rasoi" canteen at Government Polytechnic College Reasi.
The canteen is operated by Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) formed under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) and aims to offer affordable, nutritious, home-cooked meals to students, faculty, visitors and the general public.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Project Officer DUDA Udhampur-Reasi, Jaffar Azad; Principal of the Institution Er. Arun Bangotra and other officials.
