GANDERBAL, March 13 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, today chaired a meeting of the District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee (DLAMC) to assess the progress of Aadhaar enrolment and Aadhaar seeding of beneficiaries across the district.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed the status of Aadhaar Centers and was informed that 31 centers are currently operational out of the total 57.
He directed the concerned departments to expedite the activation of all Aadhaar centers under their jurisdiction and emphasized the need for 100% Aadhaar coverage through efficient mobilization of enrollment staff.
The meeting also deliberated on key focus areas such as document updates and mandatory biometric updates in Aadhaar.
