DODA, Nov. 25 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC), Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting with officers of the Revenue Department and other stakeholder departments to discuss the revision of stamp duty rates for the year 2026.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), SE PWD, ACP, GM DIC, Executive Officers of Municipal Committees and other concerned Officers. The ADC Bhaderwah and SDMs also participated in the meeting through virtual mode. The DC emphasized the need to remove discrepancies between existing stamp duty structures and the current market value of land.
