BANDIPORA, Feb. 27 -- The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Thursday visited the Hajin town to inspect the restoration work on the road that had recently collapsed after developing cracks.
During the visit, the DC assessed the progress of the restoration work, which is being carried out by the Department of Irrigation and Flood Control, to ensure the quick re-establishment of the road.
Emphasizing the urgency and importance of the road, DC urged the concerned departments to complete the repairs at the earliest to minimize any further inconvenience to the local population. During the visit, Qadri also visited the temporary accommodation facilities provided to the families evacuated after the road collapse.
