Udhampur, April 15 -- In a commendable effort to safeguard citizens against online fraud, the Cyber Cell of District Police Udhampur has successfully resolved eight cases of financial fraud, recovering a total amount of Rs 2,67,211, which has been refunded to the respective victims.
According to police sources, the Cyber Cell received eight complaints from individuals who had fallen prey to various forms of online financial fraud. Acting swiftly, the dedicated team of cyber experts at District Police Office (DPO) Udhampur initiated prompt investigations and coordinated with financial institutions to reverse the transactions.
