JAMMU, April 1 -- In a swift and successful operation, the Cyber Cell of District Police Jammu has recovered Rs 8,44,455 from online fraudsters involved in separate cyber crime complaints. The fraudsters had been using various deceptive tactics to cheat victims by luring them with false promises related to online trading, investment, and fraudulent transactions.

Victims reported being tricked into returning money allegedly transferred to their accounts by mistake, while others were persuaded to invest money in fake schemes after being instructed to rate hotels and restaurants via a telegram group.
