SAMBA, May 23 -- In a deeply moving curtain raiser event, SPPND Government Degree College, Samba unveiled the spirit of its upcoming memorial initiative - "Veeron Ki Vaatika - Wall of Fame" - A Living Tribute to the Bravehearts of Samba Tehsil under the national campaign "Meri Maati Mera Desh", supported by the Department of Higher Education, J&K and funded through the CAPEX budget.
The Wall of Fame commemorates 18 martyrs from Samba Tehsil who made the supreme sacrifice in service to the nation - from the earliest conflicts of 1947 to Kargil and beyond.
