Jammu, Jan. 14 -- The Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu under the patronage of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain today celebrated the festival of Makar Sankranti with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour. The event began with a warm welcome address by the Head of the Department, Prof. Asit K. Mantry who highlighted the cultural significance of Makar Sankranti and emphasized the importance of preserving traditional heritage among students.This was followed by captivating group folk song performances.
