Jammu, June 10 -- The Cabinet Sub-Committee tasked with reviewing Jammu and Kashmir's reservation policies has completed its report, Health and Education Minister Sakina Itoo announced on Tuesday. However, agitating students have urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to immediately convene a cabinet meeting for its discussion and implementation.
Addressing concerns about alleged delays, Itoo reaffirmed that the committee had finalized its findings within the six-month deadline, set for June 10. "The report will be placed before the Cabinet when it meets," she stated in a post on X.
