MALIGAON, July 9 -- The much-awaited Araria - Galgalia Broad Gauge Line Project, spanning 110.75 kilometres is nearing its final phase with the commencement of statutory inspection by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS). The inspection and commissioning process will begin on 9th July, 2025 and is scheduled to conclude on 11th July, 2025.
This critical inspection marks a key milestone in the completion of the railway project, which aims to significantly enhance rail connectivity and operational efficiency in Bihar and adjoining regions. Once the CRS authorisation is submitted, the route will be ready for safe and full-fledged train operations.
