Creates hurdle in Career Advancement of Prog Assists working in KVKs

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu has been receiving severe criticism for its adamant attitude for not implementing Order No.71 (SECY) of 2018, which has blocked the career advancement of Programme Assistants working in various Krishi Vigyan Kentra.

Sources told Early Times that the promotions of Programme Assistants / Senior Technical Assistants / Technical Assistants and equivalents against the available posts of Subject Matter Specialists (SMSs) as mentioned in point No. 5 of University Order No.71 (SECY) of 2018 dated 11.07.2018 have not been done so far despite order issued by the then Governor SP Malik.
