Anantnag, June 23 -- Business activities resumed partially in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Tuesday after the district administration allowed opening of shops in shops after 91 days of lockdown enforced to contain coronavirus (COVID-19).

The opening of shops presented a semblance of normalcy in the entire district as a good number of people thronged to markets in Lal Chowk, Mehandi Kadal, Bus Stand, Lazibal and other areas to make necessary purchases.

The Anantnag district administration has come up with a calendar for shopkeepers to open phase-wise and sector-wise during 'Unlock I'.
