Jammu, Sept. 7 -- The State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professors for the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (JKSET/LASET) was successfully conducted today, marking a significant milestone in the higher education examination process.
The test was held in 41 subjects with additional two new subjects Anthropology & Women Studies this year. Around 14,500 candidates appeared in the examination.
Prof. Umesh Rai, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu expressed satisfaction over the elaborate arrangements and commended the seamless coordination, strict adherence to protocols, and the cooperative spirit displayed by both candidates and staff.
