JAMMU, Feb. 7 -- Commissioner State Taxes department, PK Bhat today chaired a meeting with all State Tax Officers (STO's) of Jammu division here at Excise and Taxation Complex here to review the functioning of the department. Additional Commissioner State Taxes Administration & Enforcement, Jammu, Namrita Dogra; STOs of Jammu district attended the meeting in person while as STOs of outer districts joined the meeting through video conferencing.
During the meeting, the focus was laid on revenue augmentation, proper scrutiny and tracking of E-way bills, optimal use of technology for assessment of red flags, tax evasion and input tax credit mismatch cases.
