Jammu, March 6 -- Chief Medical Officer Poonch has directed all the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to keep a strict vigil on doctors and paramedics involved in malpractices like private practice during duty hours.
As per the circular issued by CMO Poonch the CMO Poonch has directed the DDOs to show income earned from private practice by these doctors and paramedics in income from other sources in form 16. "Whereas It has come to the notice of higher authorities that some doctors as well as para medical staff officials are doing private medical practices like ultrasound, X ray, general checkup, etc at various private clinics as well as in residential quarters during official timing.
