UDHAMPUR, Aug. 30 -- A massive cloudburst struck Gharian kalan area of Tehsil Chenani, District Udhampur, J&K, on Tuesday (26-08-2025), causing panic and devastation. Till now, no contact has been established between the local population and the administration, as the mobile network remains completely down in the affected region. This communication blackout has further added to the anxiety of residents and their families. Locals have appealed for urgent intervention by the administration and disaster management teams to restore connectivity, assess the situation.
