JAMMU, Jan. 8 -- The District Shopian Taekwondo Championship 2025-26 concluded successfully with a formal closing ceremony and prize distribution at Batapora Stadium, Shopian. The two-day championship was organised by the Taekwondo Association of District Shopian under the aegis of the J&K Taekwondo Association and the J&K Sports Council (JKSC), and was held from 7th to 8th January 2026.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Gh. Rasool Khanday, along with distinguished Guests of Honour including Ahtesham (President, Taekwondo Association Shopian), Rameez Ahmad (Coach, Wushu), Shabir Ahmad (PEM), Ashraf Nazir (Coach, Hockey), and Sayaaf (Coach, Volleyball).
