Jammu, Sept. 10 -- As part of the Greening J&K Initiative, a large-scale plantation was organised by "Chinar Eco Warriors" in collaboration with State Forest Department, J&K which culminated with a event organised at Santosh Memorial Gurudwara Sahib.
The highlight of the event was the plantation of more than 16,000 saplings across Kathua and Samba, at various locations such as Higher Secondary School Nav Vidya Mandir, Govt Girls Middle School Simblana, Samba Village Koulpur, Rehyan, Raipur Camp, Haripur, Kamala, Marheen and Mangu Chak. The initiative reinforced the region's ecological balance to accelerate greening J&K mission.
