MOHALI, Jan. 9 -- The grapplers from over 200 universities across the country put on a spectacular display of strength, skill and endurance at the ongoing All-India Inter-University Wrestling Greco-Roman and Freestyle Championship 2025-26, being organized under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and hosted by Chandigarh University.
The five-day-long national championship is witnessing the participation of over 2,700 wrestlers, with more than 1,500 bouts being contested across 20 weight categories in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling styles as the action continues amid biting cold on the fourth day at Chandigarh University campus on Thursday.
