Chandigarh, Nov. 1 -- To commemorate the formation of the state, Chandigarh University celebrated Punjab Day with a two-day grand cultural extravaganza 'Virasat-e-Punjab' paying tribute to the rich cultural heritage and glorious history of Punjab.
Renowned Punjabi folk singer Paramjit Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Pammi Bai, inaugurated this cultural extravaganza, organised by Chandigarh University's Department of Agriculture and Department of Department of Art and Cultural Affairs, as the chief guest.
