Jammu, Sept. 9 -- Chief Education Officer Jammu, Sh. Ajeet Sharma conducted yesterday an extensive tour of various schools across the four zones of Marh, Akhnoor, Jourian and Khour to assess the preparedness of institutions after the long closure of schools due to heavy rains and flooding. CEO Jammu was accompanied with Deputy CEO Jammu (HQ Akhnoor), Sardar Harjeet Singh.
Many schools across Jammu and Kashmir had reported damage during the recent spell of heavy rains and floods. As schools are scheduled to reopen this week, the visit aimed at ensuring readiness for safe resumption of classes and continuity of learning.
