JAMMU, July 27 -- Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed every year on 26th July to commemorate India's resounding victory over Pakistan during the Kargil War of 1999. On this historic day, the Indian Army courageously reclaimed strategic outposts along the Line of Control (LoC), showcasing extraordinary valor and commitment. The day honours the indomitable spirit and supreme sacrifice of the nation's brave soldiers. As part of the observance, the Indian Army organized a commemorative event at Government school situated in Rajouri, Poonch and Reasi district.
