Jammu, Sept. 9 -- In a continued action to ensure public health and safety, Police Station Bus Stand Jammu, during routine patrolling and checking, intercepted two vehicles-Maruti ECO (JK02BF-3640) and Scooty (JK02CB-1221)-found transporting suspected adulterated food items.
On inspection, police recovered approximately 30 boxes of Soan Papadi (150 kg), 12 boxes of Barfi (60 kg), 2 bags of Boondi (50 kg), and Paneer weighing around 88 kg. The consignment was found being transported in violation of the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSAI).
