Jammu, Nov. 22 -- An upcoming fencer from Jammu district of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has made into the National Centre of Excellence, SAI at Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
14-yr-old fencer from Jammu, Jasdev Singh, has been selected for National Centre of Excellence at Aurangabad based on his performance in the 65th National School Games, 2019-20 Fencing Boys Under 14 held at Nadiad, Gujarat from February 15 to 19 this year.
The fencer is a regular trainee of Fencing Coach Rachna Jamwal of J&K Sports Council.
The fencer has secured third place (bronze medal) in the National School Games following which he was selected for the Centre of Excellence.
