JAMMU, Dec. 6 -- The Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM), J&K and Ladakh UT, submitted a memorandum regarding the recovery (liberation) of Indian territory occupied by China during the 1962 Indo-China War.

Disregarding the slogan "Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai" and violating the Panchsheel Agreement between India and China, China attacked India's sacred land on 20 October 1962 to fulfil its expansionist intentions. During this attack, the Indian Army displayed indomitable courage and inflicted heavy losses on the Chinese forces. A large number of Indian soldiers made the supreme sacrifice, yet despite their bravery, China occupied a significant portion of Indian territory.
