JAMMU, July 17 -- In a major success against bovine smuggling, the police party of Police Station Nowshera today foiled a smuggling bid and rescued 11 bovine animals from a vehicle in the Siot area.
As per official sources, the bovines were being illegally transported in a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK12B-1415, which was heading towards Kashmir via the Mughal Road. The driver of the vehicle managed to flee from the spot and is currently unidentified.
