JAMMU, May 29 -- Police team of Police Station Chenani led by its SHO have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 06 bovines were rescued which were being transported in a vehicle (Jk19A-1584) towards Kashmir valley without any valid permission.
Driver of the vehicle namely Talab S/O Saif Ali R/O R.S Pura Jammu and his associate namely Rizwan S/O Mohd. Iqbal R/O Miran Sahib Jammu have been arrested on spot.
All the bovines were rescued and have been shifted to a safer place.
In this regards, case FIR No. 59/2025 under relevant sections of law stand registered at Police Station Chenani.
