Udhampur, May 25 -- On 22.05.2025, an information was received at Police Station Chenani regarding a suspicious bag emitting a foul smell found among stones in Laddha village . Upon inspection, the police team found a decomposed dead body inside the bag. In this regard, a case FIR No. 55/2025 under Section 103 BNS was registered at PS Chenani. Later the deceased was identified as Ravi Kumar S/O Parkash Chand R/O Chulna, Panchari.
During the course of the investigation, a police team led by SDPO Chenani and SHO PS Chenani rounded up several suspects. After sustained questioning and the use of technical analysis, three persons were taken into custody, namely-
