Jammu, Dec. 2 -- First time after eruption of terrorism in J&K in early 1990's, terror plagued Sopore town on Wednesday witnessed political rally which was organized by none other than BJP-which was earlier considered as 'untouchable' in the Valley.
On Wednesday BJP organized 'Tonga rally' at Sopore in Baramulla which is native place of hardcore Hurriyat leader Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani. Braving threats of terrorists and separatist leaders, a large number of local Tongawallas participated in the rally which was organized as part of the campaign for District Development Councils (DDCs) elections.
