JAMMU, April 10 -- The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu & Kashmir Branch Office, today organized an industrial exposure visit for 28 enthusiastic students of the Standards Club from Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), Samba.

The initiative aimed to provide students with practical insights into quality standards, industrial operations, and laboratory practices aligned with BIS's mission of promoting standardization and quality awareness.

The students, accompanied by their mentor, Mrs. Seema Sambyal, visited the BIS Jammu Office, the Referral Assaying Laboratory, and Kashmir Ispat Pvt. Ltd., Bari Brahmana.
