JAMMU, Nov. 8 -- Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, celebrated the 150th anniversary of the National Song - Vande Mataram with great zeal and national pride. The celebrations included welcome address, brief introduction to the historical and literary significance of Vande Mataram, written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1875, singing of our National Song-Vande Mataram and listening to the speech of our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Adding vibrancy to the celebration, students also presented cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances and recitations, showcasing the rich diversity and artistic spirit of the University. Their performances beautifully reflected the essence of Vande Mataram.
