The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association hailed the statement of Lieutenant Governor on reservation.
According to press release a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Captain (Panch) Kamal Dass Kaith here, who welcomed the statement of Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu that the Government would come out with a new Reservation Policy in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Association members while speaking during the meeting urged the Lieutenant Governor to have an early order/notification issued to this effect so that the withheld backlog reserved quota in promotions for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes gets released and is filled up with the eligible employees of these...
