KUPWARA, Dec. 4 -- The highest voter turnover for third phase of DDC elections in North Kashmir was recorded in Bandipora district. Though there was severe cold, but people came out in large number to cast their votes at different polling booths.

According to the details about the DDCs, the polling percentage recorded in Bandipora district at 56.73%, Kupwara was 46.25% and Baramulla 30.94%. Huge gatherings of people were seen for their turn at different polling booths across North Kashmir. In two DDC constituencies of Baramulla district, 9-Sangrama and 13-Wagoora, where 23.41 % of votes were recorded in Sangrama and 38% was recorded in Wagoora.
