Jammu, March 11 -- Himalya Sewa Sang, Jammu, in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir AIDS Control Society and the Health & Medical Education Department, organized an awareness camp at Old Satwari and Raipur Satwari. The event focused on educating youth about HIV/AIDS prevention, voluntary blood donation, and drug de-addiction.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr. S.K. Sharma, who urged young participants (18-35 years) to follow the guidelines set by the National AIDS Control Organization and J&K AIDS Control Society.
He highlighted the dangers of drug abuse, especially injected drugs, and discussed high-risk groups within communities.
