Jammu, Jan. 20 -- Heightened security and airspace restrictions ahead of the Republic Day celebrations led to the cancellation of two flights to and from Srinagar on Tuesday after a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) was issued at Delhi Airport, officials said. The affected flights were cancelled by the respective airlines due to operational and airspace curbs imposed as part of extensive security and logistical arrangements for the January 26 celebrations. Airport authorities said such measures are routine during high-profile national events to ensure smooth conduct of ceremonial activities and aerial displays.
