Srinagar, April 23 -- In a serious jolt to Kashmir's fragile tourism revival, a terrorist attack on a group of tourists in Pahalgam's Baisaran area on Tuesday afternoon left 26 persons dead, triggering fear and concern among local stakeholders ahead of the peak travel season.
Officials informed that unidentified terrorists opened fire at a tourist group in the upper reaches of Baisaran, a popular trekking and picnic spot in Pahalgam in south Kashmir.
