SRINAGAR, Nov. 21 -- For the past three months or so a report submitted by a committee formed to look into the issue of fixation vis-a-vis seniority of the employees in the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Secretariat is gathering dust in the office of Secretary of the Assembly.
Sources told Early Times that seniority in the respective class/cadre of the employees in the assembly secretariat has gone topsy-turvy and most importantly promotion of 70 odd employees to next higher level is pending since the last one and half years. They said that there is a virtual stagnation with the promotion being denied to the employees.
