RAJOURI, July 3 -- In a major outreach effort, the Indian Army's Romeo Force has launched a comprehensive pre-recruitment training programme across twin border districts Poonch, Rajouri as well as Reasi district, targeting youth from remote and underserved areas, with special focus on the Gujjar and Bakarwal communities. Conducted under the Army's Civic Action and Outreach Programme, the initiative is designed to prepare aspiring candidates for enrolment under the Agnipath Scheme and Territorial Army with over 1,200 youth have enrolled so far for these trainings.
