Akhnoor, Sept. 12 -- The recent rains caused unprecedented floods in J&K and many states of India, leading to great loss to life and property. In the past also, NCCHWO Members have been helping fellow countrymen in distress like COVID. Accordingly, a liaison was carried with the Crossed Sword Division, to ascertain the worst flood affected population adjoining River Chenab, so that the needy could be extended help and efforts of the Government could be supplemented. On the request of Brig Harcharan Singh (Retired) , the Indian Army identified certain severely affected villagers of Pallanwala.
