SRINAGAR, May 28 -- ADGP Armed J&K Shri Anand Jain-IPS issued promotion orders of 601 Police Personnel having their lien and seniority with J&K Armed Police. Among the 601 promotions, 212 Head-Constables have been promoted to the rank of ASI, 326 Sg. Constables have been promoted to the rank of Head-Constables and 63 Constables have been promoted to the rank of Sg. Constables. The promotion orders were issued by Armed Police Headquarters J&K Srinagar after the Departmental Promotion Committee headed by DIG Armed/IR Range Jammu found them fit for next promotions in light of prescribed promotion norms.
