Udhampur, Oct. 2 -- On the written complaint of one person namely Kuldeep Kumar S/O Uttam Kumar R/O Channi Morh, Tehsil & District Udhampur, regarding theft of two batteries from vehicle Truck No. JK14B-8272 attached with PHE Civil Udhampur, a case FIR No. 153/2025 U/S 305(e) BNS was registered at Police Station Rehambal.
During the course of investigation, the police team of PS Rehambal led by its SHO, two accused persons namely Pritam Singh S/O Kali Dass R/O Garhi, Udhampur and Mohd. Salim S/O Shah Mohd. R/O Garhi, Udhampur were arrested.
On their disclosure, both the stolen batteries are worth approximately Rs.20,000/- were recovered.
