UDHAMPUR, April 7 -- In a continued effort to curb bovine smuggling in the region, District Police Udhampur successfully foiled yet another smuggling attempt and rescued ten bovines being transported illegally. The operation also led to the arrest of three accused persons involved in the crime.
The police team from Police Station Udhampur, led by its Station House Officer (SHO), was conducting routine vehicle checking at the Jakhani Naka point when they intercepted three suspicious vehicles - Mahindra Bolero (JK14K-5066), Mahindra Bolero (JK02BV-2755), and Tata Yodha (JK14J-3731).
