Jammu, Aug. 17 -- Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu organized a procession to commemorate the 40TH Day (Chehlum) of Imam Hussain (A.S) and his 72 companions who sacrificed their lives in Karbala. During the lecture delivered Maulana Syed Iftikhar Hussain Jaffari highlighted the importance of the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 companions. He added that we should always stand by the oppressed. Special prayers were also made for the victims of Cloudbrust at Dharali (Utrakashi), Chishoti Padder Kistwar And victims of atrocities in GAZA. The procession passed through the traditional route from Peer Mitha, Lakhdata bazaar, Rajinder Bazaar, Shaheedi Chowk and culminated at Karbala complex wazarat road Jammu.
