Anantnag, June 22 -- Security Forces have called off 'Cordon and Search Operation' in Verinag area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district after militants reportedly managed to escape.
As per reports, a gunfight between militants and security forces had broke out in Rain Chogund Forest area of Verinag Anantnag. They said that militants likely three in number took advantage of dense forests and managed to escape.
Earlier forces & militants exchanged fire after Forces launch CASO in Forest range of Verinag ,there was no further contact with militants.
