Jammu, April 3 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from April 6, sources said.

They said that Shah will arrive in Jammu on April 6 and will stay there for 2-days. On April 7 evening, he will leave for Srinagar and stay there for a night. The Union Home Minister would return to New Delhi on April 8.

Sources said that during his stay in Jammu, Shah is likely to visit some of the border areas and hold separate review meetings with senior officials of various security agencies and the local administration.

"He (Shah) will discuss the progress made on various centrally sponsored developmental projects and discuss other important issues with the officials.
