Jammu, Sept. 28 -- Amid ongoing tension in Ladakh, leaders of the agitating groups reached New Delhi on Sunday evening for a preliminary dialogue with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), scheduled for Monday, September 29.
Earlier, the talks were slated for September 27 and 28, but members of the Leh Apex Body (LAB) sought a postponement as they had to attend the funerals of those who lost their lives in Wednesday's violence in Leh. Four people lost their lives in Wednesday's violence that broke out during a bandh call given by the youth wings of different social groups of Leh.
The rescheduled meeting will now be attended by three representatives, each from the LAB and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA), along with the Ladakh MP.
